Botulinum Toxin is a purified protein that is used in numerous medical conditions for therapeutic benefit. Drs. McCarroll and Veale are trained and certified to treat medical conditions including headaches, TMJ disorders ( "teeth grinding" or jaw clenching causing pain), and Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating to the armpits, palms and soles). Many medical insurance providers will cover the cost of the Botox for some of these conditions. There is also an injection fee for these procedures. Dermal fillers are made of Hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance in your skin causing hydration and plumpness. They can be used to smooth out lines around the mouth and nose, enhance and restore volume to sunken cheeks or temples, plump and enhance the lips and improve symmetry of facial features, with minimal down time. Treatments generally last for 6-12 months. You will have a free consultation with our trained and certified injectors, Drs McCarroll and Veale to create an individualized treatment plan.

Vascular treatments are non-surgical and requires no anesthetic. Depending on the patient and treatment area there may be a slight tingle or stinging sensation which only last momentarily. Immediately following treatment, the vascular lesion may temporarily darken and in the week to follow the lesion will fade as the body absorbs the residual blood until it is no longer visible. Typically, 1 to 4 treatments are needed to obtain the desired result.

Sclerotherapy is the process of injecting irritating substances into the varicose veins to get rid of them. The irritant causes an inflammatory reaction in the veins. The body then identifies that the vein is no longer functional and dissolves it over a period of time. This process usually takes 6-12 weeks, but in some people it can take longer. Sclerotherapy remains the "gold standard" in treatment of spider and varicose veins.
